VICTORIAN COUNTRY HOUSE CARVED OAK RENAISSANCE STYLE SERVING TABLE

A Victorian Oak Renaissance revivalServing Table of exceptional quality. The back centred on a shield shaped cartouche carved with grotesque mask of Italian influence. It is flanked by trumpeting half figures, scrolling leafage, birdseed infants playing guitars. The top with acanthus carved lip above a deep apron centred on a further mask which is flanked by vine branches. The scrolling fore legs carved with lion masks and paw feet. Late 19th century.
